Bridging the Gap between Design Academia and the Service Design Industry

It has become crucial to align the critical, reflective, and practical perspective of academia with the practical necessities of the industry . How might we foster a symbiotic relationship between design industry, academia and public sector to enhances and support values across sectors.

Some of the questions explored were; Is there a Gap or not? Should it be maintained or not? How do values interact, intersect and interpret?The panelists consisted of industry experts, MA Service Design tutor team, and MA Service Design alumni to discuss what the priorities should be now, and in the future.
