Transforming Ageing – Design Academy
This semester a group of our MA SEDI students worked on the Design Academy Challenge: Transforming Ageing.
Hostel by the Design Council and supported by industry experts, a group of MA SEDI students participated in the Design Academy, together with LCC students from MA Interaction Design & Communication, MA Design for Art Direction and MA Design Management and Culture. The students worked on the following themes:
- Remaining physically active
- Changing attitudes towards ageing
- Tackling fear of crime
- Inclusive design of products
- Being at ease with changing society
On 6th March they presented their work in front of an panel made of representatives from the industry, social sector and design.
Well done to all students who participated! Their work will be showcased and presented at the next London Design Festival 2019.
