What we’ve been up to Autumn Term 2018

What we’ve been up to this term

We’ve had an eventful and exciting first term. We just said goodbye to our 2018 graduates, and our new 2018-2019 cohort is hard at work on their first project. We started the term with an exhibition of Service Design as part of the London Design Festival, we hosted the Service Design Network UK event Service Design Futures, and we ran an event at the Service Design Fringe Festival in October. We ended the year with a Degree Show and Symposium.

Year 1 students have been hard at work on their first project about homelessness in St Pancras and King’s Cross area, in collaboration with the Living Centre, and the Public Collaboration Lab. In addition they completed ther Entrepreneurial Strategy unit which included a hackathon on wellbeing.

Year 2 students worked hard to finish their Major Projects and have now finished. We know they will do great things (most already are!). A selection of Major Projects can be found here http://masedi.myblog.arts.ac.uk/category/major-projects/.
