In November Paola has presented in Barcelona at the International Observatory for Participatory Democracy Conference. Together with James Organ from Liverpool University, Paola presented her work for the EU funded Project “CARE for the Future of Europe”, which was testing ways of doing politics differently and engaging EU citizens in decision-making at EU level, through the use of Citizens’ Assemblies

In October Paola also attended the “Why the world needs anthropologists: Designing the future” event. This is a regular event from the European Association of Social Anthropologists and this year the theme was looking, among other things, at how design is getting more and more embedded in anthropology and what the future might be for Design Anthropology as a new discipline.
